Deni became involved in the sport of swimming at age 8 in South Jersey where the sport was huge then, and still is. She feels fortunate to have made coaching her profession. 

Deni is also a licensed occupational therapy practitioner and the owner of Swim Prescription Aquatic Therapy. She is a certified USA Swim coach, and a United States Masters Swim Coach and Adult Learn to Swim Instructor. Deni has been a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor for fifty years and she says that swimming keeps her young at heart.
